Young Adult Programs (ages 13-17)

We have two young adult Programs. One is for beginners and advanced beginner teens called "The Rookies". The other program is for the more advanced player from intermediate to tournament levels and is called the Elite Training Program (ETP).

Teen Beginner Tennis Program --- aka "The Rookies" (ages 13-17)

The Rookies' Tennis Program was developed to allow a special place for young adults/teens to start to learn tennis at an older age away from the scrutiny of their more experienced and better tennis player friends and the embarrassment this might cause.  This program is specially designed for the inexperienced player who would like to learn and develop tennis skills in a low-pressure, fun environment.

These participants will be exposed to the same technical teaching curriculum focusing on sound stroke production, movement training, tactical and strategic development as all of our campers experience throughout the week or weeks they are here.  In addition, their curriculum will be supplemented by work with the Harvard Strength and Conditioning coaches as well as sessions with an expert in the field of performance enhancement.

Since all our staff are trained and continuously filmed and monitored for their teaching finesse and capabilities, these novice teens will have the very best exposure to help them develop their tennis skills and playing abilities as expeditiously as possible.

Please go to the following link to learn more about stroke production that your beginner teens will experience and you can sign up for too.

The Rookies Program is specially designed for the inexperienced player who would like to learn and develop tennis skills in our low-pressure approach to the game. As with all of our programs, participants in this program will be grouped according to their ability level and will be taught by collegiate competitors and pros that are well trained in our system.

Elite Training Program (ages 13-17)

The Elite Training Program (ETP) has been developed to meet the varying needs of intermediate to tournament level players.  Our staff are trained to focus on the individual needs of each camper in order to help them become better and more consistent players.

Tournament Style play

Our training includes tournaments, competition, and simulated point and pattern play tailored to each player's level of play and game style.  The program is supplemented by off-court training sessions with the Harvard University's Strength and Conditioning coaches, as well as with an expert in performance enhancement training.

The ETP format incorporates many elements of an intercollegiate practice, tailored for the skill level of participants. Doubles play, a valuable skill that can increase one’s chances of earning a berth on both high school and intercollegiate squads, will also be an important focus.
