Arrival Time:
Please do not arrive before these times as we cannot provide supervision.
Mondays at 8:30 A.M.
Tuesdays - Fridays at 8:50 A.M.
Be sure to be on time!
Check In:
All campers including "Rookies" & ETP Full
Day must check off their names on the attendance lists by 9:00 A.M. or they will
be marked "absent." The attendance lists are on the check-in
table just inside the entrance to the camp.
This entrance is clearly marked "Welcome to The Tennis Academy at Harvard."
Lateness:
If your child is late, they must check in with their program
director. If they are under 13, they must be escorted to their facility
by their parent or guardian and there they are to check in with their program director.
Programs are assigned to various Harvard facilities and they change
every day, so please check the "Facilities/Program Assignment
Schedule" posted on the bulletin board above the check-in table.
Absences:
If your child will be absent, you must call the
office at 617-678-0142 by 9:00 AM!
To avoid undue alarm, please call the office.
Lunch:
Lunch orders are taken on Monday and Wednesday mornings during
check-in. Monday's orders are for Monday & Tuesday and Wednesday's
orders are for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
All campers whose parents have paid for lunch may choose their
lunches at the Lunch Sign In Table.
If you would like to have your child order and have lunch and you
have not pre-paid, then you must either pay by cash/check at the Lunch
Sign In Table or go to the office (on the second floor of the Beren
Tennis Center) and pay by credit card.

by 9:00 AM on Monday or Wednesday cannot be
processed. Cheese pizza will be available for
these campers until the next lunch order day. |
Departures:
Campers (12 and under) may only depart with an "Authorized Pick-Up Person" at the allotted times of 12:00 (noon),
12:50 P.M. or 4:00 P.M. (Juniors).
Teens/ETP campers may leave unaccompanied at 4:30 P.M.
Location of Pick-Ups:
Tennis Tykes and Super Tykes are picked up in the Gordon Track Center; Juniors at the rear of the Murr Center Tennis Facility; Teens/ETP
are from the outside the Beren Tennis Center.*
Parents more than 15 minutes late will be charged $25 for each quarter hour
or portion of a quarter hour more that they are late. All late pick-ups are made at the camp office
on the second floor of the Beren Tennis Center.
Authorized Pick Up Changes:
Please go to the Desk and record your changes with a Senior Staff person.
Don't forget to make sure parents are listed as pick up people!
Items to Bring (and what NOT to bring!):
Hat, sunscreen, racket, water bottle,* lunch (if not purchased through the camp), any authorized and necessary medications, and any appropriate
snack your child might want or need (the camp does not provide snacks).
Personal toys, cell phones, iPods, electronics of any nature & collector cards should remain at home.
*NOTE: Each camper is required to bring a water bottle since paper cups will not be used in our efforts to be a "green" camp.
Unfortunately, TAH does not provide water bottles.
Medications:
Please check in at the Desk with the camps's Health Care Supervisor in order to sign the necessary authorization forms. In addition,
please make arrangements to pick up all medications on Friday afternoons. The Tennis Academy at Harvard is not responsible for any medications not picked up.
Self-Discipline:
All campers must abide by the rules of good sportsmanship, common courtesy, and respect for all persons at the camp. If anyone is unable to
behave in this manner, they may be required to leave the camp. Under such circumstances, The Tennis Academy at Harvard will have no obligations to issue
any refunds.
Daily Schedule:
Arrival times for all campers participating in the morning programs - Mondays 8:30 A.M.; Tuesdays - Fridays 8:50 A.M..
For the afternoon only programs - ("The Rookies"/ETP) arrival time is 12:50 P.M. in the Gordon Track
Center at the far end of the bleachers.
Pick-Up Times - 12:00 Noon (Morning); 12:50 P.M. (Extended Morning); Full-Day - 4:00 P.M.
(Juniors and Jr. ETP).
4:30 P.M. (Teens/ETP).*
Court/Facility Times for each group - see bulletin board in Gordon Track Center.
Skits - Fridays on Beren courts - 11:25 A.M.; in the even of inclement weather, the skits are held in the Murr Center
Tennis Facility.
Friday Cookies & Award Time - For Tennis Tykes/Super Tykes - 3:40 P.M. in the Gordon Track Center;
Juniors - 3:45 P.M. in the Murr Center Tennis Facility; and for Teens/ETP - 4:15 P.M. in the Beren Lobby.

All parents are welcome to come to camp for a short visit. Please check
at the office before proceeding to a tennis building or facility.
* In the event of inclement weather, all Junior and Teen/ETP campers are picked up at the Murr Center Tennis Facility.
